Description

This is a breakout board for the iQue Player.

The module plugs directly into the main header of the iQue Player, instead of an A/V + power cable.

It breaks out the following:

• 1 x USB Type C (power only)
• 1 x SNES/N64/GameCube Multi-AV Connector
• 1 x N64 Controller Player 2 Port

The USB-C port is for 5V power only. The data lines are not connected to the iQue.

The official iQue power supply is capable of supplying 2A @ 5V DC. Please ensure you use a suitable power supply to power the system.

The Multi-AV connector is the same used for SNES/N64/GameCube consoles, and supports both composite, and S-Video. (RGB is not supported)

Note - Using a PAL A/V cable may display a darker image than a NTSC cable. This is due to an additional 75Ω resistor inside first-party PAL video cables.

The enclosure is 3D-printed in PLA. The physical size of the device (with enclosure) is approximately 6.4 x 4.7 x 1.6 cm.

The enclosure is primarily to give extra support to the iQue connector, and prevents plugging the A/V cable backwards.

If you would like a modified version of the device, please contact me. For example:

• No Player 2 Port
• Wii A/V Connector (instead of SNES/N64/GC)
• USB-C Power + Data (note - this can cause the iQue to boot into USB mode with many power bricks)
